I just bought this bike for $120. It was advertised as a Mercier Kilo TT but does not have any logo. It also has rusted bolts all over. Still seemed worth it with a few upgrades.
What would you do with this.
I want flat bars, different pedals and straps, a new seat and a new chain. Also would like to make it a flip flop hub but not sure what I’d need to do that.

you have the kilo tt “stripper” — the chrome version was also my first fixie. your frame looks in excellent shape, you got a good deal.
you can do all that stuff you listed that you want to do pretty easily. youtube showed me a lot in terms of changing the handlebars, saddle, brakes. but i had to bring it to the shop when i wanted to change the chainring, cog, and crankset out. they have tools i just didn’t have.
you have a great starter here, don’t worry about the rusted bolts those are all replaceable.

Anyone know if I can remove the ridiculous amount of spacers under the stem?
