In 2025 Ward and Annette from Wayward Bike Riding travelled from Australia to Portugal to ride the Portuguese coast. Their adventure shows that bikepacking can be for all ages as they visit beautiful seaside towns and explore the stunning beauty of the Portuguese coast. Along the way Ward and Annette meet many other bike riding travellers while also enjoying the opportunity to meet lots of people from the local Portuguese community.
