Hello friends! Get ready for something truly special. We have been cycling in the Alps for years, but this 90-minute journey has officially become one of our all-time favorite routes. It is, quite simply, breathtaking.
Starting in the charming town of Mittenwald, Germany, we head deep into the mountains toward Austria. While the whole trip is lovely, the real magic happens as we reach the end of the trail. You will find yourself surrounded by majestic, towering peaks still holding on to their spring snow, with a wild mountain river rushing right beside our path.
The finale is the part we love the most — reaching the incredible emerald Ehrwalder Almsee. The contrast of the turquoise water, the rugged snowy mountains, and the panoramic view over the entire valley below is just spectacular. We honestly didn’t want to leave!
