Posting as I don’t think there’s enough information out there about the range of the G line electric. I’ve found the range to be pretty incredible after a few weeks of use.
This is what the computer tells me is possible on each of the levels after a recent charge to 100%, and I think it’s fairly accurate. I’m around 80kg and have the new front sand bag, which must weigh around 10kg with the battery as well as all my commute gear, including laptop etc.
I believe you could easily get 100km of range on level one cycling on fairly flat terrains. That does not include times when you do not use the motor. I tend to put it down to level 0 after I’ve got up to sufficient speeds or I’m going downhill, and it rides completely fine.
One day this summer I hope to take this bike from London to Dover and with this range I’m pretty confident I could it with a maximum of one pitstop.
