At last, the warm spring weather has arrived in Moscow, making it possible to fully enjoy cycling around the city center. One of my favorite routes goes along the Yauza River Embankment to Red Square, then through Gorky Park and Neskuchny Garden, followed by a steep climb up to Vorobyovy Gory. After that, the route continues along the Moscow River Embankment to Kievskaya Square, then through Arbat Street and along the Boulevard Ring back home.
In total, the ride was about 45 km. What makes this route especially enjoyable is that there are bike lanes almost everywhere, and it’s great to see their number increasing every year.
