  1. You are both hard workers and have a beautiful vision for you land. Indeed sad about the trees. What a heart-break. Can't wait to follow the journey and learn your story.

  2. Very impressed you managed to get several hours of sunshine this week 😎
So sad for the slaughtered trees.
Holp up with next week's weather, it seems it might be pretty wet ☂

  3. It's been magical to watch your homesteading journey… so glad you are sharing it here! Heartbreaking about the trees indeed, but as you said with your signature beautiful optimism… You found a good solution! 💝 Keep on truckin!

Please kindly allow me to suggest something: Use the tractor and it's trailer. Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing.
Best regards, luck and health in particular. To both of you of course.

  6. I feel your pain having a neighbour, then the beautiful trees cut down to ruin the privacy… Your real grafters, moving them blocks.. many people would have used a fork lift

  7. A wonderful project to do…I’m sure it will look amazing……hard work and effort will reward you……..I love trees too, hate to see them cut down, although …were they leylandia…firs…which create an acidic ground and although great at privacy….are not the prettiest…you can now plant some amazing trees in their place….good luck…..

  8. Lovely edited videos. For our viewing pleasure could you invest in some wireless mics. Hard to hear you sometimes. If we turn up the. Plume then the ads blast. Ty

  9. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. We are new subscribers as of this morning and have spent the day catching up on all your vlogs. You made a great choice in property and can’t wait to see it come back to life. Do you have any background in home renovations? I’m volunteering my husband John to come over to service the tractor and give you lessons (just have to let him know tho🤣). So glad we found your channel. Take care and best wishes from Nova Scotia 🇨🇦

  10. Given your dislike for neighbours, or indeed anyone else have you considered moving to the Namib desert or somewhere else equally remote and unpeopled?

  11. The why of the tree cutting is simple, they wanted more light those trees were oppressive. I look forward to your journey of building your dream!

  12. I appreciate the quality of your video, the multiple camera angles, etc. I am looking forward to watching your project. Seeing those trees cut would have devastated me, too.

  13. I'm in two minds about the trees, cypress grow huge and can become a nightmare. I had two removed from my property, they dominated half the garden and cost 1000€ to remove! I have planted lots of fruit trees instead, I now have a view, and my neighbor's trees are a lot happier! It's sad you lost your privacy, but you've probably gained light.
