Wanted to buy my first gravel bike, but I didn't feel like paying the premium for some brand bikes or get a second-hand bike, so I went with the option to buy a chinese frame set and build it myself. The quality of the frame is very solid, there are only some minor paint imperfections around the mounting points. Building the bike was pretty straightforward, but routing the cables through the internal headset was extremely painful. All in all, I am extremely happy with the purchase! Total weight of the setup in pictures came out to 9,3 Kg (Size 58)

Parts & Costs list:

• BXT 135 gravel frameset: 567 EUR

• Elitewheels SLR 45mm: 435 EUR

• Shimano GRX 2×12 groupset (slightly used second-hand): 357 EUR

• Other parts and tools: 370 EUR

Total Cost: 1,733 EUR

Originally I wanted to keep it under 1200€, but as always, I got a little carried away and went for the carbon wheels and for the 12 speed GRX groupset, that I got for a really good price. Nevertheless, I got an insane value for the price.
