roast my first ever big project-bike. things I learned: BikeInn shipping takes AGES. getting modern tires on these vintage rims is pretty hard. local bike mechanics are nice and sometimes even help you with quick stuff for free!
I was planning to go for silver parts but black parts are cheaper. want to change the bar again tho, it feels too far away, and I also don’t like there is only one hand position. will the €12 aliex rear rack hold up during a week of bikepacking in scotland? will find out, probably not!

Good work. You could try one of the Ritchey bars to get you a bit more upright. The El Camino or similar.
I’ve got the same bike and frame colour waiting for a pub bike build. Love that forest green.
