Rebuilding this Schwinn from the late 80s and i just installed a more modern cartridge style square tapered bottom bracket and now my cable guide won’t fit. This is the hole, it’s not tapped. The cable guide was originally held in place with a screw which would wedge this plug in but I don’t have the space anymore. I’m not getting a clear answer on the solution on google. Any ideas?
