I’ve only ridden this saddle about 150 miles. Is this wear and tear normal? I treated it first thing when I got it with the stuff it came with. I’ve ridden half the miles without bibs. Last ~30 was with Ripton jean shorts.
I don’t have a Brooks but as for leather itself that seems perfectly natural to me

It definitely looks like something is scratching the leather or some solvent has gotten on it. This is not normal.

Mine is almost completely worn after after 4 months. Brooks support said I have an incorrect bike fit which caused it. I don’t believe that is the case, I am sure it is just defective but oh well.

I think this is likely from the seams in the jean shorts. I wouldn’t worry about it. I own several Brooks saddles, they’re pretty tough.

Something is scratching your saddle. I’ve got tiny marks looking the same but on the side or the top due to repetitive contact points when I lean my bike on a wall, tree, ground etc. It’s less visible and my saddle is 10 000 km old.
Is your pants made of sandpaper or some kind of abrasive fabric ? I don’t have a clue about what’s happening.
