Hi. A couple of Q's following handlebar replacement.

1) is this ok stem bolt/compression plug alignment? bottom stem bolt is just about in line with plug.

2) I've had to flip the steerer tube shim to get the 'lip' at the top. This is so I can put the stem cap on over the handlebars, to stop them sliding up in the event of the stem bolts failing. is this necessary (assuming stem bolts are torqued correctly), and is there anyway I can get a stem cap that sits more flush with top of handlebar?

for reference, it's a Cannondale SSE gen 3 (2022) paired with Farsport F1s handbar/stem.
