A group of us from the London, Paris, and Lille Brompton club went down to watch Paris Roubaix and six of us rode the sportif on the Saturday. There was a good mix, G line, Superlight, two 6 speed steel C line, T line, and me on my diy converted 20” (https://youtu.be/hU5H\_IaYm\_k).
The guys on the 16” took the side gravel sections when possible but I just sent it down the middle to really see if my brazing would hold up! And it did!
No mechanicals between us but I’ll go into more detail on a later video/post.
It was a 70km route with 8 of the cobble sectors from the official race. Really makes you appreciate the difficulty of doing the full race with 54km of cobbles!
Also the Bromptons got a big send off at the starting line from the announcers and cheers from the crowds watching 😂
