after looking for years for a shoe that would fit nice in pedal cages, I’ve found it. I use the Campagnolo pedals, cages, binda straps. I’ve always had problems with shoes. bike shoes like the vittoria 1976, or old detto, fit great, ride great, but not so great off the bike. most of the time I’m riding to work, a store, or to someone’s house and I don’t like the bike shoes for anything but biking. so I’ve tried adidas samba, gazelle, vans, Nike. They’re all to bulky, and the soles are to wide. That point on the end of the pedal cage is always driving into my foot. The adidas Tokyo is perfect. The sole width is the same size as the vittoria 1976, and 1/4 wider than dettos, they fit absolutely perfect in the cage. So for anyone who’s in search of a casual shoe to ride in cages, adidas Tokyo is perfect. A couple things to note 1. These are women’s shoes, if you’re a man go up 1 size. 2. The sole is flimsy, I’ve had no problems yet, but I am considering getting some carbon fiber insoles to add some rigidness to the sole
