Tbh, the used market is your best friend when you’re a beginner. You can usually find a high end bike that someone bought and never rode for half the price of a new entry level one. Check Facebook Marketplace for brands like Cult, Odyssey, or Subrosa. Just check the rims for cracks and make sure the hubs spin smooth. Spend the money you save on a decent helmet your head will thank you later
