I dont plan that much. I mean daily segments. I figure out hpw many height metres I will do in yotal, guesstimate the average miles per day I can do in that terrain.ย
Then when it is really hillyย I take it slow without attempting to do a normal kmย day when it is really hilly.
ย Instead I merely go by hours ridden when I am in hill country. I wild camp, though, so where I stop is flexible.
Your day 2 is longer (km wise) than your day 1, with three times the height metre.ย
All else equal, I always find day two the hardest. And that is without 3 times the height metres
