i am looking into buying one if these:

https://www.brompton.com/p/1779/electric-zip-bag-large-sand?Color=Sand
as far as I can tell the differences are the following, but I was wondering if anyone has a personal experience as I haven't seen them in person and would order online.
comparison from gemini:
Here is a comparison of the two Brompton electric bags to help you decide which is best for your G Line Electric bike.
While both bags offer the same 18-litre capacity and are fully compatible with your Brompton G Line Electric, they differ significantly in weight, dimensions, materials, and organization.
1. Weight & Materials
Brompton G Line Electric Bag Large (Pixel Grey): Weighs just 1.0 kg. It achieves this lighter weight by using a Recycled Nylon Hex Ripstop fabric with a highly durable UHMWPE yarn-lined main compartment.
Electric Zip Bag Large (Sand): Much heavier at 1.9 kg. It is made from a thicker, more traditional 420D Recycled Nylon outer and a 210D Recycled Nylon lining.
2. Dimensions & Shape
G Line Bag (Pixel Grey): 26cm (H) x 45cm (W) x 14cm (D). It is wider but shorter and much shallower, giving it a more streamlined profile on the bike.
Zip Bag (Sand): 30cm (H) x 42cm (W) x 20cm (D). It is taller and deeper, which might be better if you regularly carry bulky items rather than flat ones.
3. Pockets & Organisation
G Line Bag (Pixel Grey): Highly organized with 5 external pockets, including two zipped pockets and two stretch-mesh side pockets. It also features a detachable padded media sleeve with its own mesh pocket.
Zip Bag (Sand): Simpler design featuring two rear pockets (great for quick access to water bottles or snacks while riding) and a removable padded laptop sleeve/organiser. It also has a specific charging port access feature.
4. Weather Resistance
G Line Bag (Pixel Grey): Made from water-resistant material but also includes a packable waterproof rain cover for heavy downpours.
Zip Bag (Sand): Made from durable water-resistant nylon, but it does not appear to include a dedicated rain cover.
5. Price
G Line Bag (Pixel Grey): £170.00
Zip Bag (Sand): £185.00
Summary Recommendation for the G Line
If you want a lighter bag with lots of external organization, an included rain cover, and a slightly lower price point (£170), the Brompton G Line Electric Bag is the clear winner. The ripstop fabric and wider/shallower profile are explicitly tailored for the newer G Line geometry.
However, if you prefer a thicker, more rigid material (which explains the heavier 1.9kg weight) and a deeper main compartment (20cm deep vs 14cm deep) for carrying bulky items, the Electric Zip Bag (£185) is still a fantastic, compatible option.

Gemini pretty much got it spot on as far as I can tell.
Ultimately though it doesn’t matter too much – get the one you vibe with the most!
Personally, I think the sand-coloured one is the most handsome, but the weight penalty is a bit of a bummer…. Probably won’t matter if you regularly ride with it packed full though.
A couple more options which are more interesting but not my work:

The sand one is the newer design.
I have the grey one. It’s too wide I feel for the bike.
With the battery taking up most of the space it’s not that practical. Fits a laptop and few bits. But that’s it really. I returned to using the standard battery bag and my trusty rucksack
