Winchester Bike Ride 🇬🇧 | 1998 GT Zaskar Through City & Countryside

A bike ride around Winchester, UK on my 1998 GT Zaskar mountain bike.

Starting at the Old Mill, the route heads along Water Lane to St Catherine’s Hill, then out to the viaduct. From there, it’s over the main road, down and back up the hill to the motorway bridge, before crossing over and climbing up the back of Compton.

There’s a long descent into Twyford, before following the river path back towards St Catherine’s Hill. The ride then passes Winchester Cathedral, continues through the park, and finishes at Hyde Gate.

A short but varied loop through some of Winchester’s best scenery — from riverside paths to historic landmarks.
