In this video I’ll show you how to ride by mountain bike around the medieval city of L’Aquila, following a tour surrounded by nature, between Gran Sasso (the highest mountain massif of the Apennines) and Campo Felice plain.

The ROUTE:
Day 1 is from L’Aquila to Monte Cristo, reaching the plain of Gran Sasso.
After the plain you can reach Rocca Calascio and, finally, San Pio delle Camere.
In Day 2 you can reach Rocche upland, up to Rocca di Cambio village.
Finally, from Casamaina, you can downhill in the direction of L’Aquila.
