I'm trying to remove the cassette from the hub to use the hub for a different rim, but the cassette isn't really letting go from the freehub. Maybe someone can help me? I tried looking for a solution everywhere but no one seems to have had this issue

Did it bite into the freehub body? Tried a mallet to tap it out? Worst case I would try to put it back on without the lock ring and use chain to wiggle it off the bite.
