  1. I am very grateful for Divine Mercy Sunday (week). I supplement D.M.Sunday by saying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy rosary everyday, I fear God greatly and this prayer calms my mind.

  2. As a Francophile myself, I would love to hear you speak more about Catholic France. Especially since a lot of it gets hidden by the victors of the French revolution.

  3. Thank you so much for your channel it is one of the Catholic sites that is always faithful and talks about your topics and world events from a truly Catholic point of view.
You have shown that it is true that when God closes one door he opens another. Thank you for all you are doing, and I thank God for all the ways he has blessed you.

  4. Thank you Christine ,
I was enjoying a dinner my wife had prepared for me delicious
Venison, vegetables, peppers, and mushrooms (so good) and
You began the account of those
Dear martyred sisters. Well I had
To wipe my eyes & nose! And then
Wonder, would I, could I , have that faith that grace to die like
    That….? Thanks again Christine!

  9. 19:30 well, it was just a newish and more conservative government in need of Catholic support, which was referring not to its own but to the sins of the Commune, whose supporters – pretty bloody people themselves – they slaughtered. It was like Republicans giving public land to a mega church to make amend for the crimes of Democrats they just defeated. Not exactly a glorious act of repentance, just a wise move given the Catholic revival of the late 19th c. in France and the still young republic needing bourgeoise and loyalist support against the revolutionary left (and as you say, later came drastic anticlerical laws, once the republic was firmly established and Catholic and monarchists became more "disposable").
