hey yall, I am 38 5'6 and looking to incorporate more physical activity in my life. I have a 5 and 1 year old that love the outdoors. I have heard electra makes quality bikes and I figure a cruiser should be okay to hitch a little kid trailer to and for riding along with my 5 year old. I'd appreciate any feedback! TIA

As long as where you are riding is flat, this could be ok. Still better to look for something with multiple gears/speeds.
I’ll be blunt, beach cruisers are the worst type of bike.
You’ll be much better off with a real bike and an extra padded comfort saddle. I would recommend a hybrid, fitness, or Urban bike; it’ll be easier to pull your kids when you can shift.
That being said, if your heart is set on a beach cruiser, you won’t find much difference between most brands. Electra is fine. As for fit, it’s a beach cruiser, they don’t fit anyone, tbh.
