so i got two bikes, a kilo tt, that i id eventually like to repaint, make it more unique (lose the stickers, throw nice paint on it, and make it more fun and cohesive with color scheme etc) the kilo is STOCK. However, i got this windsor “the hour”, has a white ind rear hub, and a chris king threadless headset (i got the windsor for like 200, dude didn’t know what he had)
ANYWAY i have some tools, but there’s several things im missing. im hoping to swap this hub today but i dont have a tool for it. am i just screwed? would i be better off taking it to my local shop to have them do it on the cheap? i really want to start working on my own bikes, in my early 30s and super interested in learning more.
any advice is helpful.
additionally, im going to take this windsor and do something with it, but the seat post is seized and id rather just strip it for parts so i can get it prepped for a weeklong bath in PB Blaster
