6 iconic climbs. 6 weird bikes. One brutal challenge. We took on the legendary climbs of the Ronde van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders) but not on normal bikes… I’m talking handbike, elliptical bike, go-kart, kid’s bike, city bike, and tandem. Terrible idea? Yes please.

Cycling is sacred in Belgium, and the holy season begins with the Spring Classics, building up to the most iconic and brutal one-day race in the world: the Tour of Flanders (or some would say Paris-Roubaix, I don’t blame you. Both are insane). Every year, the greatest riders battle on these horrible cobbled climbs to earn their place in the history books. I’m talking about legends like Mathieu van der Poel, Remco Evenepoel, Wout van Aert and Tadej Pogačar.

But what happens when you try riding these brutal climbs on the wrong bikes? Enjoy the suffering… 😅
