Anytime i visit NYC, Boston Chicago i rent a U-Haul cargo van for $20 and ramp it in and sleep next to it over some cardboard and in inflatable pillow 😴 my dear 2019 CB1000-R that i bought Cash Brand new out the crate, on sale $10,680 out the door 😎
Why not add a internal parking brake in the bike like how an automatic transmission works there'd be like a lock cylinder over the shift lever that when locked inserts a pin into the gearbox locking it in place no way for the thieves to move the rear wheel also makes it impossible to use the clutch so they can't put it in gear or neutral
Buy a $20 throttle and brake lock which clamps around the throttle and squeezes the the front brake lever. Then add a $40 – $60 brake rotor alarm. It clamps ontobthe front rotor and prevents front wheel moving. If it rotates or bumps it hits the alarm snd it doesnt stop ..
Best $60 spent The alarm But if you hear your alarm you better move because theyll try again if theres no response.
I use 1x steering lock, 1st gear and an alarmed disk lock, I always park it either hidden or visible to me at all times, (I work night shifts with a big glass window so I simply park it in front of the glass so I can watch it, my managers are also great and have once or twice allowed me to drive it INTO my work just because there’s people being idiots around it
Put an alarm on yo stuff. Something gentle in the ears of people 8 blocks away. They sell sentry cams now too. While tuting mine i realize that people can just have a spare ignition in hand n just unplug n plug the new one. Turn on and go. I keep mine in garage now. I bought mine with no key, its how i rode it home. Seen people just come with a pickup n lift em up between a few guys n just go,. I think alarm would scare em away enough.
If you put old rusty 16 penny nails hidden under the seat and I mean nasty rusty they will die or you can run 440 to the frame so when they touch it they will explode and the pigs can sort the body pieces out
I raced motox, we would keep the bikes chained to the ground in a locked shed, a massive chain across the gate, we’d put metal bars down the down inside the bricks, as we had friends who had the bricks taken out of the back of the garage. We had a air horn alarm with spotlights to all come on if the door was opened, oh and a sheet of steel on the floor so when they touched the electric fence that was wired to the door lock it would really kick
Heard half the Surron style e-motos in the UK are Hot stolen…. So a number of the riders are Bad Guys.
Also Midwestern Major City (Columbus, Detroit, Chicago) e-moto stores that deal primarily in Surrons, Talaria, RTRs literally half of the attempted purchasers are using Stolen other name/different address Credit Cards,, laundered Drug and Fencing Cash, Counterfeit money…. sometimes a single store serving the entire State.
You should always invest in a tracker for your motorcycle!! I've had the Monimoto 9 GPS tracker since it came out and wow has it been amazing. Comes with a key fob so it doesn’t go off when you’re riding it and if someone even moves the bike, the tracker will call your phone and then active tracking will commence. I have it on my KX450 and if I ever get a road motorcycle you bet I will get one for that 👍🏻

If it rolls, then easy steal. Disc locks help but not full proof theft insurance is only surefire thing.
Who leaves there bike outside?

Dodge magnum
Whatever awful place they came from. You mean, Earth? Humans have made earth insufferable.
had to rewind after they found the bike.. though my cat finally lost it
Gps tag ur bike, and lock your clutch
Can't pop a clutch
My E bike got stolen and I never got it back😢.
With my bike you cant shift without the key being in the on position. If I park it in 1st wouldn't that help prevent theft?

Do what I do and put a Apple AirTag in you’re bike but hide it in it
Morish place bahahaha. Just say the kings and queens 😅
Usual suspects
Will even chaining your bike to anything solid even help?
In the 90's thieves would put the front wheel up on a skateboard and just wheel them off.
You need to stop saying gentlemen…😂
Invested lol

Fork locks do nudda zip.
My response would be … hey thanks for the call, its not my bike anymore. Call GEICO.

It’s always them.
Leave it in first
That’s crazy
Does the insurances if you have full coverage pay you a new one?

That’s how he crashed it?
You mean that’s how he was assaulted with a cop car; likely equipped with a metal raming device meant for vehicles.
Back the blue
Get a fin gps tag it attaches to the battery and has a three day backup and it gets mounted up front away from the battery so they don’t see it
Air tags and Galaxy Tags so useful now a days.
Caleb- gs:xr If tho bike get stolen pray you never get it back and thy thieves get cast to the bed of bubba

Are the insinuating the guy to have insurance? Or is it that they don't think the insurance would cover the replacement of the bike?
THATS WHY INSURANCE IS A THING
Someone tried to steal mine recently it's at honda now getting a new ignition they could not get past steer lock.
So true engine gone pointless
Don’t call me to pick up my wrecked motorcycle after I’ve reported it missing. Especially, if you told me I’d never see it again. 😅
