Looking to get my first road bike and I tried out the Specialized Allez and that one seems to suit me the most. Two different options that I have at the same price point is the 2025 Specialized Allez sport or the 2026 specialized Allez. Which one would you recommend?

At the same price I’d probably rather have Cues. Gonna be easier to get spare parts going forwards, and it has a few advantages despite technically being lower tier. More low end gear range, more durable cassettes, more ergo lever design. Plus it’s actually upgradable to 11 speed, you just have to remove a shim in the lever and get a different cassette.

The Cues bike is missing a hose(or housing?) so stay away.

    …kidding…kinda.

I would get Tiagra still, but that may be me being old and set in ways.

Spec wise they are pretty much the same.

Cues is technically future proofing but its not like you won’t be able to find parts 2 decades from now
