I've been eyeing this thing for a month. It looked to be in great shape so I messaged the guy. Bottom bracket and headset are good. Seat tube isn't seized. Just needs the hubs regreased and drivetrain cleaned. Some new cables and housing. It appears to have lived in a shed for 4 decades and was rode once every five years. Other than grips and tires everything seems to be original.
Fuji also had a Boulevard XC at the time which uses cantilever, these oddly use caliper but looks to be plenty of room. I found a pic of the women's one with fenders for reference (managed to find the same fenders on Rivendell). Excited to get this back rolling. I'm doing Panaracer tanwall Pasela Protite tires. I read a ton of good reviews on them. Stock tires are 26 x 1.5" so figured 1.75" should be good. Room for fenders. Gonna throw a Brooks saddle on. If anyone has recommendations for grips that would look appropriate. I'm probably going to use some cork ones for now.
