Long-time lurker, first time poster! After many months of researching and planning I finally picked up a Grail CF SL 7 AERO (one of the few bikes in Small with electronic shifters available on the US shop).
I'm a runner. Cycling has always been an afterthought… until this year. I've fallen in love with riding and decided it was time to get a little more serious. I have a couple of triathlons booked as an extra incentive to stick with it and grow. I'm learning how very much I don't know about cycling and bikes in general – its been a lot of fun slaying ignorance. 😀
I've also ridden the same heavy-weight Trek hybrid bike for the past 20 years. It's falling apart. The goal was to majorly uplevel the equipment, stick with a 'one bike to rule them all' approach, and have a lot of fun.
Just got fitted earlier this week and getting ready for my first full ride tomorrow morning, so excited!
