90s Trek Multitrack… what are these unthreaded holes in the fork called and what type of front rack/basket would be compatible?
Bonus opinion… seeking inspiration on paint vs copper patina. Fork is currently copper sulfate and wire brushed off the excess powder accumulation. Looks decent. Super rustic.

Those are mid fork mounts, intended for low rider racks to carry panniers. Fun fact, this particularly model of 750’ lugged 90-93 I believe, were the exact same frame as their 520 of the same era, no different in frame. Only decals & components.
Great touring bike/gravel grinder. Whatever.
Low rider rack mounts. They come in two flavors, some are only drilled on the outside while yours is both inside/outside. So basically for something like this [Tubus Duo – CampfireCycling.com](https://www.campfirecycling.com/product/tubus-duo-front-rack-p-1071.html) although it can be made to work with different racks.
As long as it doesn’t rust, I don’t see where it matters what the top coat is.
Any front rack might work, although you may have to go with longer bolts than are usually supplied and have the bolt go in from the inside towards the outside.
Some people mount fenders using the mud fork bosses.
