Is this frame toast? It’s a road bike and in the past 10k kilometers it has grown about 7 mm from the white mark on the right. The frame rides fine still. Could it be a crack in the laquer of the carbon and not the fibers themselves? The orientation seems weird to me.
I’d be unhappy to toss it, as it is really hard to find direct mount rim brake carbon frames anymore.

Not safe to ride it anymore, I’d say. The best way to be sure is to remove the entire BB and use a flashlight. If you can see light through the crack, it’s dead. You can try to take it to a carbon repair shop but this location will be hard to repair.
