Have you ever broken a brake lever & if so, how?

I only experienced a broken brake lever because someone I know was being smoothbrained & decided to throw stuff in the air. Something landed and HIT MY BRAKE LEVER and CAUSED IT TO BREAK OFF FROM THE PIVOT POINT but the rest of it still stood and I could still actuate the brake cable somehow someway. Unfortunately someone replaced it for me with a cheap looking and not matching brake lever. About 9 to 11 years ago

And in recent years with some shtty bikes I found broke some brake cables but never brake levers

I only ever broke a plastic piece for a rear shifter (Microsoft) because I went down a short hill too fast and hit a post and still have most of it but now there’s just a metal nub I can still push to upshift but the plastic that normally attaches to it is fubar, maybe I can find another piece like it and snap it on? Maybe 3D print one, idk? Usually if I thought I couldn’t brake fast enough I’ll walk down some hill or road or time it right depending on the area and situation but idk what I was thinking this time.
