Trying to buy my first road bike but I don’t want to spend a billion dollars. I’ve never heard of Kestrel, but this is the Evoke 3.0 carbon bike for $800. Made in 2018 and was recently tuned per the owner. Thoughts?
Decent for the right type of riding, and assuming it fits well. Road bikes can be pretty sensitive to getting the sizing correct. 800 maybe a little steep, rim brake bikes don’t have the same sort of demand as they once had. Maybe around 600 it could be a decent buy.
