So I wanna get my first kinda proper bike and my options are a these two talons and one is nearly half the price but I think its a talon 3 and the other one is a talon 2 (im not sure about the models so I will put pictures and you can check on your own)

Definitely the 2nd one (not sure of the name)
It has a 1x 11/12 drivetrain easier for beginners and less maintenance and improved reliability
Wayy better tires and wheels .
And the frame standards make it so you can upgrade parts in the future like installing a dropper post
for the same price get a used one
Green all the way. Used could get you a great deal but a brand new bike has it’s upsides if you have the budget. The first bike will hold you back. The green bike can be upgraded as you become a better rider. If you get into it you’ll want a full suspension and the green bike will be a great hardtail to keep around long term.
