After getting on a bike for the first time in 20 years in January, I thought what better way to progress than a 110km ride on the East Coast of Australia!

Bundeena to Kiama day 1 is through a National Park, mostly road riding with some pretty serious hills. The last part of the ride is into a costal city with a pretty serious declivity which saw the top speed of the trip. We camped at a tourist park and had dinner + beers at a nearby brewery. Luxury!

Day 2 is through a series of Costal towns on bike paths – a mix of coastal, suburban and industrial riding with plenty of facilities and swim opportunities. Much less challenging depending on how much beer you had the night before.

My Trek Roscoe and Aliexpress gear worked perfectly and it was a fantastic weekend! Why did everyone hide this hobby from me for so long??
