Did a quick 1-night camp at Two Harbors on Catalina Island last weekend. 22ish miles and around 3300 feet of climbing each way with an insanely brutal climb out of the main town and port of Avalon where 6% grade sections feel like a relief.

Just spectacular scenery and smooth graded dirt roads. The Catalina Island Conservancy, which manages the open space, does a great job managing the many camps around the island and makes it easy to get a bike permit to ride across the island.

Really impressed and definitely need to do a longer multi-camp trip the next time to explore more. And it's all under a two-hour dock-to-dock ferry from LA/Southern California.
