Hello fam, I am looking to graduate from my mediocre AL frame road bike into a nice carbon frame. I have most of an Ultegra 8000 groupset waiting for a home and I'm hoping you all can help me decide between these four:
- 2015 Specialized Tarmac Expert
- 2011 Cervelo S3 Limited Edition (whaddup God of Thunder)
- (year unknown) Cervelo S3 with custom paint job
- 2015 Scott Foil Team Issue
Anybody have any experience with these, and if so, which do you prefer? Anything I should be aware of regarding quality, spec, potential problems, etc? All frames pictured are structurally sound and in my size range. In terms of riding style I tend to be a strong climber if that matters.
I'm currently leaning towards the Tarmac as I've ridden one (albeit a newer model) and liked the geometry. Don't have much experience with Cervelo and no experience with Scott.
