I love when people say they raced somebody but then say they didn’t know. Then brag they got a PB. Congrats?

I do this all the time and the immediately regret it when I pass them and realize that I have to keep the pace or suffer the humiliation of being passed again. It is hard life to compete with others in our minds.
I always win. Until someone drops me and I’m all, “chill out, Tour de France, I’m just going to the store.”
