Hi,
I’m currently riding a Canyon Endurace CF 7 (last year’s model https://www.canyon.com/fr-fr/endurace-cf-7/3707.html?dwvar_3707_pv_rahmenfarbe=R076_P08&dwvar_3707_pv_rahmengroesse=M&history=1 ) with the stock integrated cockpit.
I’m wondering if it’s possible to switch to a more traditional setup:
- Canyon V13 stem
- separate handlebar
(Basically the setup used on the Endurace CF 6 / Allroad, if I’m not mistaken.)
I contacted Canyon support and their answer was a bit vague:
👉 “it’s possible but it’s not designed for that”
So I’d like to know:
- Has anyone here actually done it?
- Do the CF 6 and CF 7 share the same base (steerer tube, cable routing, etc.)?
- Are there any specific constraints (internal routing, spacers, headset compatibility…)?
Thanks in advance for your feedback

Heyo. I did it with the Ultimate CF SL 8.0 2019.
It’s possible, but you need a few things:
– Canyon GP0193-01 Changing Kit Cockpit to Handlebar (contains round topcap, round headset)
– 1 1/4” spacers – VERY hard to find! I only found it from the brand “Pro” and they look ugly. I spray painted them.
You need to make sure to apply proper bearing preload. Since the design is made for the integrated aerocockpit, this might make it impossible.
I suggest you buy everything from places where you can return them, and try, make sure it’s mountable. If it works, you’re in luck, if not, just send everything back.
Good luck.
