I’m looking for some advice regarding a noise issue on my Brompton (C-Type, 12 speed). The chain tensioner is extremely loud, making a constant grinding/clattering sound while pedaling.
The chain seems to be seated correctly on the teeth of the pulley.
Is this a known issue with the 12-speed setup, or is it highly unusual for a bike this new? Could it just be dirt, or is it possible the tensioner arm is misaligned from the factory? I've attached a video for reference. Any advice on how to silence this would be greatly appreciated!

How olds the bike and have you put a lot of miles on the chain?
Sounds fine to me but can get more noisy once the chain stretches and doesn’t fit the teeth of the pulley as smooth. Might be worth using a chain checker.
Absolutely normal, Brompton drivetrains are notoriously noisy anyway
