The war in Ukraine has become the world’s first true drone war, forcing commanders to confront impossible economic math: million-dollar defenses against cheap UAVs. 1. brilliant, but is only a piece of a layered defense. there needs to be a foul weather system as well as lasers are diminished by rain, clouds, mist, and fog

  2. We, as children long ago used magnifying glasses to burn bugs and other things by concentrating the sun rays to a single point. Now big kids are using the same idea to take down flying craft like drones.

  3. Just copying all us from the west. Australia EOS slinger was given to Ukraine in first year, next minute built similar anti drone guns. USA,UK,AUS laser weapons. EOS now has laser anti drone system, sold to unamed NATO country. UAE just bought a heap. Germany interested too…

  4. A patriot missile costs about 4 million dollars
think of how many laser weapons could be bought for that cost
a good addition for the safety of ground troops

  5. I'd like to see a shahed hybrid that tracks and kills their shaheds… There are enough downed shaheds to study and plot a solution…just thinking out loud….

  6. Lasers. Drones. A dollar per kill. Economics man. War is always about the money. It wouldn’t be a red beam though. Blue is the destroyer. HeCd would be my choice.
