First gravel bike: Cervélo Áspero vs second-hand option — need advice

I’m looking to buy my first gravel bike. The idea is to ride about 50% gravel and 50% easy road.

I came across this one online and was wondering what you think about it:

My initial dream was a Rose Backroad FF, but it’s clearly over my budget.

If you had to choose between the two, which one would you go for?

For context, I’m a complete beginner and don’t know much about bikes yet. I’m mainly looking for something versatile:

• riding in forests / light trails
• comfortable and easy to handle
• possibly adding a second wheelset later to ride on the road with friends
