I’m a Canadian tentatively planning a visit to the UK this August/Sept of this year, and am thinking of incorporating a ~5 day bike tour at the end of my trip. I'm looking for a good taste of quintessential English countryside vibes with plenty of historic villages and towns and picturesque farmland, and at least a bit of seaside. The route I currently have in mind is from Exeter to Oxford, take train to/from the endpoints to London. Here’s the route on a map from cycle.travel, split into two images for better detail, Exeter-Bath and Bath-Oxford. Do you think this would give me what I'm looking for? Any adjustments or alternate routes you’d recommend?
