Hi everyone, I am trying to get my first commute bike, and I have two main options near me on Facebook marketplace. The first picture is of a genesis 27.5” V2100 mountain bike, in great condition for $75, and then a mongoose excursion 29” mountain bike for $100, also in great condition. The genesis brand new retails for $228 at Walmart, and the mongoose goes for $198. Can anyone help me choose which one would be best? I am 5’11” and I haven’t ridden a bike in a while. I also live in a cold area which will get a lot of snow in a few weeks if that matters.
