Hi Everyone! Welcome to Krikkos Adventure!

I ride my motorcycle through a Finnish swamp, but things go wrong fast! 🏍️💥 My bike gets stuck, and I have no choice but to call 112 for help.

This season I’m riding motorcycle solo across the Arctic Circle ⭕️ through Sweden, Norway, and Finland, chasing quiet roads, rugged trails, and wild camping adventures with my motorcycle.

Let the Adventure Continue! 💥

  1. I suggest taking an off-road course and getting a lighter bike – be grateful you’re alive, because in the Canadian woods at night, that could have been your last ride. Lucky you even had phone signal …

  2. Very fortunate you did not get pinned under the bike , if you leg is stuck you are stuck. Go light go far . Pinned under a hot exhaust is very very bad. Wise to call for help , many a fool has waited till it is too late.

  3. Trick i learned from my uncle with an 1800 CC bike, if you drop it and cant get it up:
turn the wheel towards the ground the best you can, hold in the hand brake, and give it throttle
Youll get your chain plenty dirty and it doesnt work great in the mud but its given me the leverage ive needed to get it out of some tricky spots before.

  4. not easy lifting bike in mud would of been idea to practice a few times just laying the bike down local and get use to picking it up. i myself would say I'm pritty strong but did the same with my tiger 1200 just so i was sure i could lift the bike… Nice work and looks a great adventure at thats what its about….

  5. Been there! I was touch-and-go in a fairly remote location (not as nearly remote as this, but remote is remote regardless) on my 790 and only just got it lifted on my last try. Didn't go home thinking "must sell my bike for a lighter one"…these things just happen sometimes, and the 99% of it being a good choice for most things is the important thing.

  6. Nosering theory…. The are difference’s between riders just as there’s a difference between male and female. That bike is too big and heavy for you and the skills. Don’t do those things alone btw it’s just dangerous

  7. I call it being smart when you call the emergency services before things get seriously bad.
We do also have some helping motorcycle communities in finland but you need to be connected to use those. Therefore 112 was the right decision. Good luck with tour adventures, looking forward seeing you in finland again 🤜🤛

  8. Are you single? If so, what is the oldest guy you'd consider partnering with? I really like the tonal quality of your voice.

  9. I'm 70, and started out riding Mini Bikes in my pre-teen years, then got a dirt bike, then road bikes. Post College were many years without a Motorcycle. My last bike from 2016 to 2025 was a Suzuki V-Strom DL-650, what the marketers called an Adventure Bike. It was a great bike, but to be honest, too heavy for off road travel. In my humble opinion, an off road bike should be light and nimble. For example: 1969 Suzuki dirt/trail-style bikes generally weighed between 200 and 300 lbs, depending on the model and equipment. And I would deem those manageable. My V-Strom was easily 450 lbs at least, you're not picking that up if it goes down without special technique, especially if you have a hurt back!

  10. You don't have to get stuck in muddy roads with your motorcycle; you can ride on rough terrain too. A suitable steel cable hand winch can be used to lift the engine.

  11. Jag har alltid viljat göra äventyr som du gör, men har alltid viljat göra det med flera likasinnade. Men har tyvärr inte hittat likasinnade. Får nog göra som du gör = soloresa om det ska bli av 😀

  12. hey Krikkos, i did made a moto winch which is very small and mechanical. you can use that to lift your bike in seconds. reach me if you like to see. and safe riding
