Looking to buy a second hand full suspension mountain bike with around £1300 budget, first bike in years so unsure what’s worth it and what’s not. Any thoughts on this? Cheers
If it’s alright it should be a good buy. I’ve heard nothing but praise about how they ride.
Worth noting in is that Spectrals of certain (all?) generations had problems with cracking rear stays. Nothing that can’t be solved, but depending on how hard you ride, and how tight your budget for repairs is, could have you run into issues down the road.

I would almost be suspicious, seems like a very good deal

I have one. It’s rad and I don’t think I’ll ever sell it. Great platform to upgrade as you go. A bit heavier than my mates bikes but it’s more composed down hill

My son rides one and he loves it. He has the Wibmer edition. Very good bike especially at that the price.

I just got rid of my 2019 for a new bike (sold it for 800 btw.)
2 things
1. Are you well within the size range? I was at the bottom of medium top of small and the medium I had always felt a bit too big for me.
2. If you have a cycle to work scheme there’s some incredible new bikes on sale ATM for 1600 (Paul’s cycles giant reign) which would come out cheaper

Great bike, I love mine. If there are no cracks, I think it is worth it.
