Join me on a stunning 40 mile circular bike ride starting from the iconic Windmill at Wymondham in Leicestershire. We’ll travel through some of the best cycling country in the East Midlands. Quiet country lanes, beautiful scenery and picturesque villages are all to be found on this ride as we explore the best cycling routes that Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Rutland has to offer. An added bonus is the stop at the historic Castle Bytham to get a glimpse of the amazing Motte and Bailey.

Smashing loop with real picture postcard villages and what about those skies!
It's not an area I know well (I've done a few races in Lincs & Leics) so this was a complete change of scenery – reminded me a bit of the York plain. Lovely.

You could of called in at Hambleton bakery. Just off the coach road on Exton park on your way to Cottesmore
