Long story short I just bought this as my first gravel bike and unfortunately found out the right pedal is seized on the crank, so I need a new crankset and want to do a 1x conversion while I’m doing it.
Unluckily for me Trek didn’t put a UDH on this bike so I have no idea what kind of rear derailleur I can switch to. I was thinking of getting a 40 tooth ixf crankset for the front and maybe a 10 or 11 speed cassette with a 11-42/50 ish range.
Can anyone point me in the right direction here? I’m feeling pretty beat down and remorseful right now and I’m very unfamiliar with swapping roadbike hardware like this.
