Hundreds of people have gathered to protest government plans to build new homes on greenbelt land in Cheshire.
The residents of the village of Adlington, which currently has around 400 homes, are furious that proposals will see 20,000 new properties in the area.
Speaking to GB News National Reporter, Sophie Reaper, the Mayor of Bollington Jon Weston said the impact would be “absolutely enormous.”

Destroying the country filling it with crap, endangering wildlife – deer, fox, badger, etc all losing grazing land, being cut off by new roads and changes so they are becoming trapped in ever smaller areas….nothing being implemented that addresses these issues…it's extermination and lack of land management knowledge.
A farmer never exterminated any wildlife unless their burden on the land becomes over populated…that's what land management is all about. Farmer's have always taken care of the wildlife coexistence with crop and animal grazing etc.

This is how they build the 'resilient cities'. Beautiful villages become popular, more housing is built all but joining them together, then the addresses become linked to the nearest city and finally, the city has expanded to absorb all the peripheral villages. I remember lots of addresses changing to London that were previously part of peripheral counties; the sweetener, the increase in house values as people now have that desirable postcode.
