Swapping my stem and noticed this rough, fibrous ring deep inside my carbon steerer tube.
The tape measure shows the exact depth—the 0cm mark is where the ring sits, right around where the steerer tube meets the fork crown.
I know the insides of carbon frames are usually unfinished, but does this look like normal bladder material/flashing, or is it delamination?
