After a long break, I finally leave Maseru, in Lesotho.
I ride on the way to Butha-Buthe. My exit of Maseru is epic, everyone shouts and screams and cheers, it’s quite unbelievable. As I continue my way towards Hlotse, a man catches on his bicycle, he tells me that he is a huge fan, and that he is the happiest guy ever because he met me. A few seconds later, a woman comes out of nowhere, and she is also extremely happy. It’s definitely a very happy day on the road, in Africa.

  5. I like the fact that Yves makes an effort to learn some basic phrases like greetings in the local languages of wherever he happens to be. He respects the cultures he traverses.
