The Costa Concordia was a large, luxurious cruise ship that tragically capsized off the coast of Italy in 2012. The disaster occurred when the ship deviated from its course and struck a rock, leading to a partial sinking. The ship’s captain was found responsible for the incident. The Costa Concordia’s wreckage underwent a complex salvage operation and was later scrapped. The disaster remains a stark reminder of the potential dangers of maritime travel.

  1. If you remember this day, you had actually know it was a coincidence he did intentionally make it so that passengers could see the island, but the navigation system did not recognize a granite shelf so they hit granite, but this ship did not claim that it was unsinkable, unlike the Titanic and what saved this ship is the same thing that killed the Titanic because it didn’t have it and that is walls going from floor to ceiling where it was taking on water. The only reason why the ship capsized is because there was more water weight on one side of the ship than the other as well as passengers were freaking out and mass panic so mix water weight with human weight as well as other things that were being thrown around inside the ship, such as chairs, plates, food carts, dressers beds, but the one thing that the Titanic and this ship have in common is a lot more people would have been still alive if they were properly trained and their drills
